HOW TO PROMOTE YOUR WEBSITE

What many people fail to realize is that in order to get money, you have to spend money because nothing goes for nothing. Though, people set up websites for many reasons, but if yours is for you to make money then you have come to the right place. All you have to do is follow the steps i am going to lay down below. No fee charge and no get rich scheme here.

After setting up a website, the next step is its promotion in order to get more visitors and also be getting your cool cash. This is very simple and i am going to start from the very first step to explain how it goes.

1. Create a website : This is the very first step. You have to get a website you want to promote. For some people who are not familiar with html tags, you can read more on my article on html tags as to get familiar with these tags because you will need the knowledge of a few as you go on with your website.

My Suggestion is you choose an ISP - Internet Service Provider or Platform with a control panel which you can control yourself and edit to your taste. With that, you can fine tune your website to whatever pleases you. Examples of ISP's are :

2. Host your website : Some of these ISP's have cheap hosting that comes with it, so that should be a criteria for choosing a good ISP and make sure you have access to the Control Panel where you can edit the website templates to your taste. A good ISP with cheap hosting will be the best for a start for your website. Examples of websites that offer free web hosting are :

3. Get a Domain : After you have hosted your website, the next step is to provide it with a domain name. The domain name should be well considered before chosen because it will to some extent determine the amount of traffic coming into the website. A website with a complex domain name will not have much hits like a website with a simple domain name. Also, the domain name should be given in accordance with the website content. 4. Sign up for Affiliate programs : After you have created a website, hosted it and given it a domain name, you have already set up a working website. This is where the real deal comes in to start earning cash for your own self. You sign up for Affiliate programs. Signing up for Affiliate programs is one of the many Ways of Making money from your website which I published in an article not long ago. There are various Affiliate programs available to join in order to monetize your website. Examples of such are :

• Google Adsense
• Jumia

When you sign up for such affiliate programs, you start earning money based on the agreement reached on the Type of Affiliate Program you are dealing in. it could be Cost Per Click (CPC), Per Referral, Per sign up, Per purchase, etc.

5. Keep Updating : After all those four have been done, then all you have left to do is to keep updating in order to keep the traffic coming in and have more visitors. The higher the number of visitors, the higher the possibility of your money increment.
